Perry Closes In On Injury Comeback

Ellyse Perry admits that she will need to rest from some games during Australia ‘s upcoming white-ball series against New Zealand as the all-rounder closes on a long-awaited return. Perry, 29, hasn’t played since he suffered a serious hamstring injury during the Twenty20 World Cup stage match against the White Ferns at Junction Oval on March 2. The injury led Perry to go under the knife and caused her to miss the final against India at the MCG on March 8, when the Aussies were crowned World Champion in front of more than 86,000.
