No ‘Mankading’ – Delhi Coach Ponting Warns Ashwin

Head coach Ricky Ponting of Delhi Capitals will not allow “Mankading” by his players at this year’s Indian Premier League ( IPL) and will address the issue with Ravichandran Ashwin, who made the controversial dismissal in last year’s tour. Last year’s skippering Kings XI Punjab, Ashwin sparked a furor whipping off bails at the end of the non-striker to run out of Rajasthan Royals batsman Jos Buttler who left the crease early. “I ‘m going to have a conversation about it with him, that’s the first thing I ‘m going to do,” former Australia captain Ponting told a leading sports web site.
