Mushfiqur Rahim, the Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman, said after spending four months indoors, he was delighted to get out on the field and play. Early in June, the Bangladesh Cricket Board declined a offer from the country’s leading cricketers to resume personal training, as the facilities were yet to be disinfected. Nevertheless, 10 players-including Rahim-have been permitted to start individual training at various venues from July 19. The first phase of individual training ended on Sunday (July 26), while the BCB plans to launch a full-fledged practice camp from mid-August ahead of Sri Lanka tour.
