Mithali Raj Singles Out The 2013 World Cup As The Lowest Point Of Her Career

The Women’s Cricket World Cup 2013 was hosted by India. Australia won the title by 114 runs in the final match against West Indies. Under the captaincy of Mithali Raj, India initiated the tournament and won the match against West Indies by 110 runs. After that, they lost their next two matches against England and Sri Lanka and couldn’t include in the Super Six. Mithali Raj said that India’s awful performance in the tournament even was most probably the lowest point in her complete career, even lower than the past controversies she involved in.
