Mitchell Starc comments on the banning of saliva usage to shine a ball by the ICC for the prevention of spreading coronavirus among players. “They have said it is only applicable for a time period and when the situation gets back to normal then saliva usage can come back to shine the ball.” While shining wax of Kookaburra is yet to be experienced in a game, letting utilizing it will call many discussions for it disobeys the rule of ball-tampering in cricket.
