Michael Clarke Appointed Officer In Order Of Australia

Michael Clarke, the World Cup-winning captain of Australia was appointed as an officer in order of Australia on Monday (08-06-2020). Now he is joining with Steve Waugh and Allan Border, who have got the prestigious national recognition. Clarke led the Australia squad to the World Cup 2015 title has been appointed as an AO in the general division, which is a very honorable achievement. After knowing this news, Clarke said “Honestly, I thought it was an April fool’s joke in the month of June. Very surprised to know it but feeling very honored as well.”
