Melbourne Stars resigned Mignon du Preez for the sixth edition of the Women’s Big Bash League, starting on October 25. South Africa is the top run-getter on the side with 1,118 runs at an average of 25.40 and a strike rate of 108.43. “It’s been a crazy year so far, but I’m looking forward to the WBBL, joining the ‘bubble’ and catching up with all my Stars mates,” she said. “The club has made some good signings and we can be assured that we will make this season a success.”
