Mansi Joshi Ruled Out Of Women’s T20 Challenge

India Women’s pacer Mansi Joshi was removed from the upcoming UAE Women’s T20 Challenge, to be held from 4-9 November, following a positive COVID-19 test. Uncapped UP pacer Meghna Singh has been named, pending BCCI approval, as Joshi’s replacement in the Mithali Raj-led Velocity squad. It is known that Joshi, who turned 27 on Wednesday, is asymptomatic and in stable condition. In the mandatory test, BCCI asked all players participating in the T20 competition to undergo the positive test in her hometown of Dehradun, before flying them out to Mumbai.
