Mahmudullah Tests Positive For COVID-19, Will Miss PSL

A Bangladesh Cricket Board official confirmed to a leading sports website that Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah will miss the opportunity to take part in the Pakistan Super League play-offs as he recently tested positive for COVID-19. “Mahmudullah has been screened positive for corona and will not be able to compete in the upcoming play-offs of the PSL,” a BCB official said. For the last leg of the competition, scheduled from 14-17 November, Mahmudullah and Tamim Iqbal were chosen as replacements. Though Multan Sultans roped in Mahmudullah in place of Moeen Ali, Lahore Qalanders had picked Tamim to replace Chris Lynn.
