Adelaide Strikers have declared to have signing of Laura Wolvaardt for Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). “I’m so excited to join the Strikers. They ‘re an awesome cricket team, and nearly went all the way to win last year’s tournament,” Wolvaardt said. Head coach of strikers Luke Williams said he was looking forward to the qualities Wolvaardt is expected to bring to the squad. The WBBL 6 is scheduled to start on October 17-18 weekend, highlighted by match between Brisbane Heat defending champions and the Adelaide Strikers. The three-match finals series of this season is scheduled to be played from 27-29 November with times and a venue to confirm.
