England has brought back several World Cup titles for their white-ball series against the team of Australia, but Test team captain Joe Root has not included in this T20 team. At the 2016 T20 World Cup, he was the third-highest scorer but has not played a T20 international match for more than a year, despite he is very much interested to include in the shortest format. Jos Buttler, Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, and Sam Curran all are involved in the ODI as well as the T20 series, while Joe Denyl comes in the T20 format and Chris Woakes in the ODI team.
