Jermaine Blackwood gave CPL deal as Jamaican pair withdrawn due to Covid-19 exposure

Jermaine Blackwood, a batsman of West Indies and Ramaal Lewis, bowling all-rounder have been called to a squad of Jamaica Tallawah to play for Caribbean Premier League (CPL) after two cricketers were withdrawn. Jeavor Royal and Andre McCarthy, the Jamaican duo will no longer participate in this year’s CPL after both the players come in contact with another Jamaican player, who has COVID-19 positive. Although both the players test negative in a starting test for COVID-19, the rules of this years’ tournament state that cricketers must have two negative tests before being receiving permission to travel to Tobago and Trinidad, where CPL is taking place.
