Jason Gillespie Named As Australia Head Coach

Former Australia pacer and current Sussex head coach Jason Gillespie was offered South Australia ‘s coaching reins in the two main domestic competitions-the One-Day Cup and the Sheffield Shield. Gillespie will leave Sussex and take the vacant spot left in South Australia by Jamie Siddons, who left South Australia after the team’s lowest finish in the 2019-20 season. “I am profoundly fortunate to have the opportunity to coach the cricket team from South Australia,” Gillespie said of his selection. “The chance to collaborate with the SACA players , coaches and off-field staff is really exciting. I’m very looking forward to being a member of Team SACA.”
