Ishant Sharma Among 29 Recommended For Arjuna Award

Ishant Sharma, the well known Indian pacer named in a 29-members list of athletes, who are recommended for the Arjuna award of this year by the selection committee of the sports ministry. Along with Ishant Sharma, archer Atanu Das, cricketer Deepak Hooda, women’s hockey player Deepika Thakur, and Tennis player Divij Sharan are also included in the recommended list of the prestigious Arjuna award. An official source has provided all this information after the meeting of the selection committee in New Delhi. Ishant Sharma has appeared in 97 Test matches and in 80 ODIs, where he claimed more than 400 international wickets.
