Indian Women Cricketers ‘Anxious’ About Future – Mithali

India’s ODI skipper Mithali Raj has revealed that the players are grappling with anxieties about the future of women’s cricket. Like all other teams, India, too, has been out of the park since the T20 World Cup final took place in March. In reality, the ongoing T20I series between England and the West Indies, which began on September 21, is a return vehicle for women’s cricket following a forced lay-off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “There’s been this worry about what the future is, what the future tournaments are, because right now, we don’t know what we’re preparing for,” said Mithali in a discussion.
