Ian Bell to retire at end of 2020 season

🕒 4 min read

The former middle-order batsman of England, Ian Bell will take retirement from the professional cricket at the end of this 2020 season. The 38-years old Ian Bell played in the year 2015 for team England but has been a regular player for team Warwickshire since then. Because of an injury, he was forced to miss the complete season in 2019 and also struggled for runs this year. In all formats, his top score is 28. Bell said “ It is fact that whenever they say you know very well when the time is right and unluckily my time is now. While my keenness and hunger for cricket remain as strong as ever, simply my body can’t cooperate with the requirements of the game to that standard I have expected from myself.”
