Devdutt Padikkal, contemplated as the future cricket star of Indian cricket made an outstanding IPL debut with a fantastic half-century but he said that he was nervous when he was confirmed to play in RCB playing XIs. In the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad, the 20-years old Kerla man scored 56 runs in 42 balls and helped his team to post 163 runs with the loss of 5 wickets. During a discussion after the match, Padikkal told to Chahal that he was very nervous while hearing the news of playing his 1st match. But while came to bat, he settled down after playing a couple of balls.
