Devdutt Padikkal has grabbed all the attention during his excellent domestic run. He has added a lot of runs in his domestic career and that has bagged him a ticket to IPL. In a recent interview former selector, MSK expressed his opinion on this young gun and said – “It will take some time for Devdutt Padikkal to break into the longest format. He’s definitely the guy for the future, there are no two ways about it. But if you’re looking at longer formats, maybe he will take one more year of domestic cricket”
