Hashim Amla, the former captain of South Africa, is the latest cricketer to come out in favor of the Black Lives Matter campaign, writing on Instagram the “delusions” of those who claim that one race is superior to the other. He also registered his support for the fast bowler Lungi Ngidi, and thanked him and others who “stopped up for only causes in their own way.” “The perceived dominance of whites over blacks or blacks over whites, or one race over another, is actually delirious. Yeah, that’s right-nothing but delirious,” Amla wrote.
