New Zealand all-rounder Hamish Rutherford is expected to return to Worcestershire Rapids set up as an international player for the 2020 edition of the Vitality Blast. Confirming the news, Worcestershire Cricket County Club said that Rutherford would be available to play for the entire T20 competition, where Worcestershire Rapids won in 2018 and finished second last year. Worcestershire CCC Head Coach Alex Gidman welcomed Rutherford to the county, saying that the left-hander could play a disruptive role at the top of the line as the side is once again looking to face up to a major challenge in this year’s competition.
