Eoin Morgan Wants Turning Pitch For Australia ODIs

Eoin Morgan is hoping for a spinning pitch during England’s one-day series against Australia as the world champions prepare for India’s 2023 World Cup. The captain of England is expecting a gentle turner in Manchester, where hefty rivals will play three one-day internationals over the next week, with weather conditions favorable to slow bowlers. “It’s a huge advantage for us to play in Old Trafford, particularly if we play on the wicket that I think we’re going to play, which we hope will be slow and take a lot of turns,” he said.
