Mark Boucher, the head coach of the South African men’s team, stressed the need to boost the team’s success and play hard instead of only being ‘good people.’ Multiple defeats just before the Pandemic Break resulted in South Africa being listed sixth in the Tests and fifth in both narrow formats. “We’re all aligned in the right direction, and while they’re all only words, we all need to go out there and try and live it, rather than the words coming out of our mouths. I ‘m glad the players are satisfied, but now the real work begins” said Boucher.
