For the upcoming next two seasons of the Womens Big Bash League, Perth Scorchers have signed Australia’s highest-ranking T20 player Beth Mooney. Mooney, the WBBL ‘s second-most prolific run-scorer in history, has scored 2,576 runs with the Brisbane Heat during her five seasons since featured in the side’s consecutive championship triumphs over the past two seasons. “I’m very pleased with my decision for the next few seasons to join the Scorchers. I’ve heard amazing stuff about the people and atmosphere at the WACA and I appreciate the way Perth has gone about their cricket over the years,” Mooney said.
