5000 IPL runs for Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma, the captain of Mumbai Indians was just two runs away, and in the 13th match of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League, which is taking place at Abu Dhabi, he has crossed 5000 runs mark off the first ball he has played, which was going for a boundary. Now, only two players in front of him- Chennai Super Kings’ Suresh Raina, who is axed from the 2020 IPL, and Royal Challengers Bangalore’s captain Virat Kohli. In the match, Mohammad Shami, the bowler of Kings XI Punjab pitches it outside off stump to the MI skipper and he gleans it for a four-run. The fantastic journey of Rohit Sharma in IPL and it still continues.
