Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has paid tributes to five women in his life on International Women’s day which was celebrated on Sunday.
He posted a video on his Instagram account in which he thanked his mother, aunt, wife, daughter, and mother-in-law for their support which helped him to become one of the best cricketers in the world.
He recalls various stages of his life and how different women influenced him in those phases. He said about his mother Rajni that she always cared about his health and happiness like every mother would do.
Another woman he mentioned was his aunt Mangala Tendulkar where he spent 4 years of his childhood while studying at school. He called her a mother-like woman.
He also thanked his wife and her parents for standing by his decisions on and off-field. He expressed pride in his daughter for being a wonderful woman but staying true to her roots even though exposed to newer things in life.
Sachin praised his wife for taking the burden of looking after the family as he could concentrate on cricket and country.
He concludes by saying that he doesn’t know what he would have been without these women in his life.
