CSK Started Auction with a Purse of 14.60 Crores: Stephen Fleming

Chennai Super Kings head coach Stephen Fleming said that with less purse of money & high expectations CSK team started an auction for IPL 2020, which held at Kolkata on Thursday.

CSK team boosted their bowling attack by buying Piyush Chawla, Josh Hazlewood, Sai Kishor, and Sam Curran

Stephen Fleming said “we are dictated a little for what others want& we have less amount of money when compared to other teams. So, we had to play the waiting game for a big player who fits well in the team”.

Piyush Chawla was bought for a huge price of 6.75 crores by the CSK team.

Chawla was refused by KKR despite he bowled more overs than Kuldeep last year. He now plays a crucial spinner role in the CSK team.

Sam Curran was a valuable selection for CSK Team.

Curran was a left-arm bowler with cutters and batting, he looks so good. D. Bravo and Curran give CSK a perfect middle option in terms of bowling and batting.

By adding Chawla, we can expect a perfect spin attack, especially at MA Chidambaram stadium in the upcoming IPL edition said by Tom Moddy at the same interview.

Dean Jones and Darren Ganga also got impressed for including Piyush Chawla in the CSK team. Finally, Indian leg spinner Piyush Chawla was bought for the highest bidding among all players bought yesterday.
