Women’s Premier League Auction
The popular Indian Premier Competition (IPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India, has a women’s division called the Women’s Indian Premier League (WIPL), commonly known as the WIPL. In order to give women’s cricket a platform and encourage the sport among Indian women, the WIPL was introduced in 2021.
The WIPL offers young, promising players the chance to demonstrate their abilities and gain exposure while also including some of the top female cricketers from India and throughout the world. A total of eight teams representing various Indian cities will compete in the tournament, which will be played every year.
