Kane Williamson bounced back with a quick knock 85 off 48 to drive the side from the front. After the second wicket, Williamson and Glenn Phillips put up a fantastic stand. Finch, on the other hand, revised his tactics, bringing in Hazlewood to attack in order to break the partnership. Hazlewood restricted New Zealand’s momentum by grabbing back-to-back wickets in the form of Kane Williamson 85 (48) and Glenn Phillips 18 (17).
On the other side, the Australian batting order appeared to be difficult for the opponents in the chase, so far. Mostly, David Warner’s form will be crucial for the side.
