Invited to bat, the star-studded batting line-up of team West Indies found themselves in a bit of pressure after losing their first three wickets on 32 in 6.5 overs.

Stafanie Taylor, who came at the crease as number 3 batter in the fourth over, stayed at the crease and played full overs. Her contribution of 44 was crucial, however, due to bleak support from other batters, West Indies were only able to reach 118 after 20 overs.

Nonkululeko Mlaba hurted the West Indies batting line-up the most with her dominating spell of 4-0-29-4. Veteran Marizanne Kapp once again proved why she is the best as an all-rounder, as she claimed two wickets while giving only 14 in 4 overs.
