Why does Yuvraj Singh father dislike MS Dhoni?
MS Dhoni, who is considered as India’s most successful captain, has been instrumental in the team’s sucess during his cricketing career.
Dhoni has led India to three ICC titles, ICC T20 WC, ICC CWC, and the Champions Trophy, the only captain in cricket history to do so. Despite that remarkable accomplishments, he has faced criticism from Yograj Singh, the father of Yuvraj Singh, for impacting his son’s career.
Yograj Singh, the former Indian cricketer, has once again publicly criticized MS Dhoni for negatively impacting Yuvraj Singh’s cricketing career. During an interview, the interviewer asked Yograj Singh if he had forgiven MS Dhoni. To this, Yograj replied that he would never forgive Dhoni. He firmly believes that Dhoni’s actions have had a detrimental effect on Yuvraj Singh’s cricketing career.
During the interview on the Zee Switch YouTube channel Yograj Said, “I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life. I have never done two things in life – first, I have never forgiven anybody who has done wrong for me, and second, I have never hugged them in my life, be it, my family members or my kids, that man has destroyed the life of my son who could have played four to five years more.”
Yograj Singh passionately advocated for Yuvraj Singh to receive the prestigious Bharat Ratna award in recognition of his significant contributions to the Indian cricket team.
“I dare everyone to give birth to a son like Yuvraj. Even Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have said in the past that there won’t be another Yuvraj Singh. India should ward him the Bharat Ratna for playing with cancer and winning the World Cup for the country,” Yograj added in the interview.
