MI New York, who won the league’s inaugural season, managed to grab the final qualification berth this season but failed to pass the eliminator test and was knocked out of the competition.
Team Washington Freedom already reached the finals, while Texas Super Kings and San Francisco will lock horns in the challenger, the winner of that game will advance to the finale.

Texas Super Kings Form
The Faf du Plessis side started the tournament on a losing note while their second game was called off due to rain. After winning the third match, TSK’s fourth clash was also cancelled, with only 4 points after 4 matches, the Super Kings secured two wins in their final three group stage game to qualify for playoffs.
Skipper Faf led his side from front in the eliminator, as Super Kings defeated MI New York.
San Francisco Form
Team San Francisco had a solid run during the group stage as they won five out of seven games. The only game they lost was against the Texas Super Kings, which is the same team they will face in the challengers.
Hassan Khan, who is the highest wicket-taker in the team, also performed well with the bat and played a knock of 57, has provided more strength to the star-studded side and the team is looking ready to face Texas Super Kings.
Washington Freedom Form
The table toppers after the group stage in the second season of MLC won five games out of seven. Their match versus Texas called off, while they faced a defeat against San Francisco during the group stage.
However, they changed the scenario and claimed a win over San Francisco to reach final.
Travis Head scored a match winning not out 77-run knock in 44 balls in the qualifier, and he is also the second highest run-getter in the league. While the highest wicket-taker, Saurabh Netravalkar, also belongs to team Washington.
Who will win MLC 2024?
It is tough to predict the winner of MLC 2024, as all the three teams had their moments in the league; nevertheless, given the current form of their players Washington Freedom are somewhat ahead of the competition.
