We Certainly Won’t Make Excuses – Mitchell Marsh

Australia has faced their 2nd defeat in the ongoing T20I series against West Indies in Geos Islet. They have lost their 1st T20I by simply playing some rash shots and the 2nd T20I saw something else – it’s the front line bowlers who have failed to create their impact in the game. Let’s look at Mitchell Marsh about Australia vs West Indies T20I series

Mitchell Marsh about Australia vs West Indies T20I series

Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been the top performer from the side despite their loss. He has scored 2 consecutive fifties in both the games – but unfortunately, there was no contribution from the other end.

In a recent interview, Marsh said – “I can’t speak on behalf of them. But what I do know is that the West Indies team, the back half of their innings, some of the best players in the world. So, no matter who you are, you are under pressure and it’s about execution. So, if you’re slightly off against these guys, you gonna get punished. In international cricket, that’s the challenge but Mitchell Starc is one of the best white-ball players of all time so I think he feels comfortable and confident on where he is,”

Hopefully, we can come back stronger – Mitchell Marsh

He has also further added – “Yeah, we certainly won’t make excuses, but there’s no doubt that coming in without three months of cricket, it can take you a little bit of time to get going. As I said, the West Indies have been playing a lot of cricket and playing very good cricket at the moment. But we certainly felt ready to go for this series. We had great preparation, great leading, first loss yesterday was a tough one, but tonight we were outplayed and that happens in T20 cricket. So, I think we lean on is that this Australian team was 2-0 down in India and won the series, we were 2-0 down in New Zealand and got back to 2-2. So, as Australian teams, we love backs against the wall. Hopefully, we can come input in a great performance,”
