USA T20 World Cup squad
USA T20 WC Squad: As one of the host countries for the T20 World Cup 2024, the United States of America unveiled its whole 15-member roster on Friday, with Monank Patel serving as team captain. Everyone had anticipated that the previous captain of the India U19 World Cup team would be included, but in an unexpected development, USA management has chosen to exclude Unmukt Chand from the squad.
USA will be participating in an ICC T20 World Cup for the first time. Both youth and experience make up the team, and one former Indian domestic player is also on the roster. Ranji Trophy player Milind Kumar, who led his Delhi team in runs scored during the 2018–19 season, then in 2021 he resigned from Indian cricket and relocated to the United States. Where he made his USA debut against Canada in 2024.
Among the other well-known names in the mix are opener Steven Taylor, who leads the USA in runs scored in international cricket, Aaron Jones, and Saurabh Netravalkar, the player with the most caps.
