West Indies Skipper Trying to Convince Narine to Come Out of Retirement

Recently the West Indies skipper Rovman Powell stated in an interview that he wanted Sunil Narine to come back into the national side for the upcoming T20 World Cup and more importantly this T20 WC is being held in the USA & West Indies. So it’s like playing at home and the skipper wants his best players to be available for the prestigious tournament.

He started off by saying “For the last 12 months, I’ve been whispering in his ears, but he’s blocked out everyone,” He even said that he had asked other senior players to try and change Narine’s mind. Lastly, he finished off by saying “Hopefully, before they select the team, they can crack his code.”

In reply to this Narine in simple words stated “It is what it is, but let’s see what the future holds.” His answers were somewhat optimistic where he did not deny the fact of a comeback but instead, he smartly covered it by blaming future outcomes.
