Scorchers Thrashed Renegades By 21 Runs

Perth Scorchers extended their winning streak after hammering Melbourne Renegades by 21 runs. The Scorchers have once again proven to be a formidable side in the BBL 2021-22. Mitchell Marsh was the ‘Man On Fire’ for the day, smashing 86 off 53 balls, while Laurie Evans joined forces with a quickfire from his bat, 42* off 16. Scorchers established a challenging total for the opponents, displaying their superior batting order as well as their bowling assault to restrict the runs, offering ‘No Way Out’ for the opposition.

Renegades’ batting order appeared impressive as well in their hunt, but they couldn’t find enough room to win the game, therefore they will remain at the bottom of the BBL 2021-22 standings.

Perth Scorchers Innings 206-5 (20 Overs)

Melbourne Renegades Innings 185-5 (20 Overs )
