Scorchers Beat Renegades By 8-Wickets

Perth Scorchers defeated Melbourne Renegades by eight wickets in just 16.5 overs. Scorchers extended their spot at the top of the standings with another dominant performance. Following exceptional performances from their bowling and batting units, they seemed to be a challenge for any side they had faced so far. They continues the winning streak, and it was a formidable record, with the aim of securing the BBL 2021-22 title. Mitchell Marsh 42 * off 33 and Colin Munro 58* off 32 standout players for the show with quickfire knocks.

Renegades, on the other side, fell short of gaining momentum and struggled to counter the Scorchers’ tactics. Mackenzie Harvey 45 off 40, Sam Harper 32 off 25, Jack Prestwidge 22* off 11 were only the batters for the side to defend to some extent.

Perth Scorchers Innings 152-2 (16.5 Overs)
