Sangha, Billings’ Quickfire Set 201 For Scorchers

As they bat first, Sydney Thunder showcased a solid batting performance to display a tough score of 201 for Scorchers. As the openers, Matthew Gilkes and Alex Hales failed to contribute much to the side, Sangha 56* off 46, and Billings 67 off 35 were the batsmen who appeared to be quite aggressive with their quick knocks, forcing the Scorchers bowlers to sweat to some extent. Andrew Tye was the man who break the key partnership, and Mitchell Marsh soon followed by sacking Alex Ross and Daniel Sams in a quick session, handing the control of the game for Scorchers.

Moreover, Thunder lost wickets at regular intervals, they were able to post a good margin for the Scorchers. It will be exciting to see if the strongest team can hunt the big total.

Sydney Thunder Innings 200-7 (20 Overs)
