After being appointed to the national selection committee, Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Kamran told the media that he had decided to retire right away because he had also decided to pursue coaching as a career.
“I don’t think after you come into coaching or become a national selector you can focus on playing,” he said.
