On Day 2, England bowled out Pakistan’s batter for 366 runs, with Jack Leach and Brydon Carse picking two wickets each. Sajid Khan Shines with 7 Wickets by Day 3’s End

PAK vs ENG 2nd Test Day 3 Updates: Pakistani bowler Sajid Khan maintained his momentum by taking three wickets and restricting England’s batsmen to just 52 runs on Day 3. Additionally, Noman Ali contributed by claiming one wicket during the same day of the second Test.

England resumed Day 3 with Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse on the crease, while on the first session of the play, England lost early wickets where Brydon Carse went out for just 4/29 balls, Matthew Potts for 6/10, Jamie Smith 21/55 and Shoaib Bashir 9/19 balls and concluded the innings with 291-10 in 67.2 overs.

England’s Bowling Attack Dominates Pakistan’s Batters

After an early dismissal, England’s bowlers bounced back strongly and dominated Pakistan with total control of the game. Shoaib Bashir’s 4-wicket haul and Jack Leach’s taking 3 wickets played a crucial role in the innings. Additionally, Brydon Carse’s two wickets and Matthew Potts’s one wicket helped England restrict the Pakistan batters.

In the 2nd innings of the game, England’s Bowling Attack dominated Pakistan’s batters as Pakistan’s batters faced difficulties on the Crease, where four of their batter were dismissed with single-digit scores, and the other five batters did not even score more than 31 runs, but thanks to Agha Salman’s 63/89 helped Pakistan to score 221 runs for 10 wickets.

England had a disappointing start to the 2nd innings, where their openers Ben Duckett went out for a duck and Zak Crawley 3/8 balls. Now Ollie Pope and Joe Root are on the crease and concluded Day 3 with 36 runs for two wickets in 11 overs.

What to Expect on Day 4: England’s Chase Begins with Pressure

Ollie Pope and Joe Root will resume Day 4 of the 2nd Test, where England needed 261 runs, while  Pakistan will be looking to kill the rest eight batters before the victors chase the total.
