As Australia had lost the WTC 2023-25 final against South Africa, they will be determined to claim the title.

Apart from the test format, Starc also wants to focus on the ODI world Cup in the year 2027, Australia who is a dominant force in the ODI formats, will be determined to protect and preserve their best available talents to defend their title after winning it in the year 2023.

Challenge for Australia in the upcoming T20 Series

The challenges in the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand for Aussies will be to replace Mitchell Starc and get in a strong and competent bowler who can deliver in strong instances and be a supportive pillar for the team against New Zealand and the next T20I matches.

And with the upcoming T20 World Cup coming in the next few years, Australia will need to find a strong replacement for Starc.
