Rahul & de Kock Hail Chennai as Dhoni’s Chama goes in Vain

LSG vs CSK Highlights

Lucknow Super Giants vs Chennai Super Kings 34th Match Highlights

LSG vs CSK Highlights: A total domination by the home side as the skipper KL Rahul along with Q de Kock took charge and finished the game for the home side.

Lucknow thrashed the defending champions Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets and boosted their net run rate with their magnificent performance.

Lucknow after winning the toss started brilliantly as they got rid of the CSK opener Rachin Ravindran early on in the innings. This onslaught did not stop as Yash Thakur, Krunal Pandya, and Stoinis struck one after the other.

This rattled the top order of Chennai and it was their allrounder Ravindra Jadeja who held the rope and scored a brilliant fifty.

LSG vs CSK Highlights: Jadeja’s Fifty along with Moeen Ali & Dhoni’s Cameo Uplift Chennai Total

Jadeja made sure CSK did not have a downfall even though wickets were falling at one end, he kept his composure and punished the bad balls. Jadeja smashed 57 runs off 40 balls with five boundaries and one massive six.

While Jadeja did his part it was Dhoni finishing which took CSK’s score to 176/6 in 20 overs.

MS Dhoni once again showed us why he is the best with his finishing skills, he scored a blistering 28 off 9 balls with three fours and two massive sixes. Even Moeen Ali contributed early on with 30 runs from 20 balls.

LSG bowlers did a great job restricting Chennai to a low score where Krunal Pandya picked up two wickets, and the remaining bowlers (Mohsin Khan, Yash Thakur, Ravi Bishnoi & Stoinis) picked up one wicket each.

LSG vs CSK Highlights: Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul Finish the Job for Lucknow Super Giants

The Lucknow openers had their plans today as both openers were in control of the game and gave Chennai bowlers no chance of picking up a wicket. Both of them switched up the highest opening partnership 134 in this current TATA IPL 2024.

Quinton de Kock however scored 54 from 43 balls before being dismissed by Mustafizur in the 15th over of the innings.

Things however did not go in Chennai’s favor as Lucknow’s skipper made sure that they crossed the line with easy against a strong side Chennai Super Kings. But it was Rahul’s impressive 82 runs from 53 balls that took the home side towards victory, Rahul smashed 9 fours and 3 sixes.

While Pooran’s 23 runs in the end held the home side close the game inside 19 overs. The home side never looked in trouble during the chase as they had full control of the game and gave very less chances to CSK.
