Kartik Tyagi’s Amazing Spell Receives Lot Of Praise On Twitter

Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, two sides who can’t afford any mistakes in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021’s UAE leg, faced off in Dubai on Tuesday. And the team who committed the most faults ended up losing the game. It was the kind of night where captaincy was lacking, a review was blown, and a side dropped a crucial player 3 times. However, it was Punjab Kings’ day to suffer, as they failed to score 8 runs in the last 2 overs and 4 off the last, which was assisted by Kartik Tyagi. Here is all about Kartik Tyagi Performance In IPL 2021.

Kartik Tyagi Performance In IPL 2021

Rajasthan Royals won their 4th game in a spectacular way, whereas the KL Rahul-led team lost their 6th game in a total of 9-games. The Kings’ 186-run attempt was set up by the opening pair of Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul. Rahul pushed his luck after dropping three times, meanwhile, Agarwal overcame a tough start and then hit some incredible shots.

He hammered the spinners down the pitch and produced the inside-out shot off the bowlers to show off his amazing abilities without attempting any risky shots. Rahul fell short of his half-century when he was dismissed for 49 in the 12th over, but he had already contributed 120 runs for the first wicket. Agarwal passed the 50-run mark and appeared to be in excellent shape to lead his team.

Unfortunately, for the first time, he mistimed a strike and was caught in the deep in the 13th over by Rahul Tewatia. The Royals wanted to mount a comeback with two fresh batsmen in the middle, Nicholas Pooran, and Aiden Markram and they did it by reducing the calculation back to 32 off the last 4 overs.

Both batsmen performed admirably to reduce the score to 8 runs in 2 overs. However, Mustafizur Rahman did brilliantly leave 4 runs for Kartik Tyagi, who then bowled 5 dots in the last over while taking up 2 wickets to give the Royals a two-run victory.

RR proved to be more than enough courtesy to Tyagi’s heroics

Earlier, after being sent into bat first, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Evin Lewis put on a good performance for the Rajasthan Royals. In the powerplay, the Indies batsman, who has been making his RR debut, smashed 36 off 21 balls against Ishan Porel. Sanju Samson’s inconsistent season resumed as he was dismissed, whereas Liam Livingstone’s good innings were shortened by a flying Fabian Allen.

Jaiswal, on the other hand, was bowling a mature session. He rotated the strike and punished poor balls, and he calculated his strokes effectively. The lefty earned a half-century, but in an attempt to get there, he locked his bat face a bit early, mostly for the sharp end to be collected by Harpreet Brar.

Then followed Punjab’s strange choice to bowl Deepak Hooda in the 16th over. Lomror had indeed warmed up after smashing 2 sixes off Adil Rashid, and Hooda’s bowling only served to amplify his advantage. The left-handed ace knocked in 24 runs in the over to maintain the Royals on track for 200 runs.

However, they lost 6 wickets for just 19 runs, halting their momentum. In the end, the Royals scored 185 in their 20 overs, which proved to be more than enough courtesy to Tyagi’s heroics.
