After winning the toss Rajasthan Royals has chosen to bat first and they have aimed to post 175+ on board. They had good momentum going on while batting in the middle overs. There were few moments where RR batsmen were dismissed at regular intervals and it was their skipper Sanju Samson – who stood strong and gave a tough fight for the SRH bowlers. And finally, they have managed to post a score of 164-5 in 20 overs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has brought Jason Roy in place of David Warner. There was a lot of pressure on Roy because he had to give a good start to his team and this was his 1st game. In the initial few balls, Roy tried to settle a bit by playing few shots and once he had got his momentum there was no turning back. He has made a blazing knock of 60 in just 42 balls and helped their franchise to win by 7 wickets.
Surprisingly, David Warner was not present in the SRH dugout and it was later found out through his Instagram status that he was resting in his hotel room.
