IPL 2024 All Awards Details 

The Indian Premier League this time around was on another level where we saw many records being broken and also new records being set. The 17th edition of this cricket festival has certainly stood up to the expectations of fans. This 2024 season has been a roller coaster for teams with lots of drama and emotions filled in it

Kolkata Knight Riders were one of the dominant teams throughout the competition, where they finished first in the group stages and defeated SRH in both qualifier 1 and finals to clinch the TATA IPL 2024 title. Now KKR become three-time champions of the Indian Premier League. 

It is always the appreciation in the form of awards that encourages the players to perform at their best level. IPL started in 2008 and now in 2024 there is a huge difference in the prices and the number of awards has also increased.

Now the reported price money allotted for the top four teams is 46.5 Crores, where the winning title will take home 20 Cr, then the runner-up will pickup 12.5 Cr, the third place team gets 7 Cr and finally the fourth place team win 6.5 Cr.

So this year the award winners are;

  • KKR gets 20 Cr 
  • SRH gets 12.5 Cr 
  • RR gets 7 Cr 
  • RCB gets 6.5 Cr
Orange Cap and Purple Cap Holders and Price Money 

Orange Cap Winner = Virat Kohli with 741 runs wins the orange cap (15 Lakhs) 

Purple Cap Winner = Harshal Patel with 24 wickets in 14 games has purple cap (15 Lakhs)

Other List of Awards:

Emerging Player of the Tournament (20 Lakhs) = Nitish Kumar Reddy

Most Valuable Player of the Season (12 Lakhs) = Sunil Narine

Most Sixes Award = Abhishek Sharma (42 Sixes)

Cash of the Season (10 Lakhs)= Ramandeep Singh

Fair Play Award of the Season (10 Lakhs) = Sunrisers Hyderabad

Pitch and Ground Award (50 Lakhs) = Jagan Mohan Rao (Hyderabad Cricket Association President)

Power Player of the Season (15 Lakhs) = TBA

Super Striker of the Season (15 Lakhs) = TBA

Game Changer of the Season (12 Lakhs) = TBA

So these were the list of winners for this edition of the TATA IPL 2024, were now with this outstanding performances they have proved their talent on the big stage. Now when they come out in the next edition they will be full of confidence and the expectations from fans will also be higher.
