Indian Premier League 2021 (IPL) is all set to start from 19th September 2021 at UAE – And fans are not only happy about the Mega event, but also they have some other good news too. IPL governing council has given a green signal and IPL 2021 will welcome the fans.
The organizers have officially given a statement and said – “This match will be a momentous occasion as IPL will welcome the fans back to the stadiums after a brief hiatus owing to the Covid-19 situation,”
They have also added by saying – “Fans can buy tickets starting September 16 for the remainder of the tournament on the official website www.iplt20.com. Tickets can also be purchased on PlatinumList.net.”
IPL 2021 is all set to kick start with an exciting contest between Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 19.
Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi have been finalized for conducting the 2nd phase IPL 2021. However, all the matches at these venues will be played only with limited seats and the ground staff that to make sure – Fans has to follow all the Covid protocols.
This is going to be the first time since 2019 when IPL will be played in front of the audience. IPL 2020 was conducted in UAE, but the complete mega-event happened behind closed doors.
The organizers have not specified an exact number of fans whom they would let in – But according to a few souces, it is said that 50 percent of the stadium capacity will be filled.
Fans are very excited after hearing the news and they eagerly waiting to book their tickets for the event. Currently, all the Indian players who were been part of the England series are in strict quarantine and they are soon expected to be a part of their respective training camps.
Currently, DC is standing tall at the 1st position of the points table followed by CSK, RCB and MI have been placed. It will be interesting to see – Which team can utilize the UAE conditions and emerge as IPL 2021 winners.
