India best playing 11 for Women’s Asia Cup 2024, With the cricket loving nation still celebrating the victory of Men’s T20 World Cup, the women’s are gearing up to provide the country one more reason to celebrate, as the defending champions India are ready to play in Women’s Asia Cup 2024.

The multi-team competition will be played in T20I and serve as a dress rehearsal for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.  

Team India will not only look to defend the title, but also balance their side ahead of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. 

Harmanpreet Kaur as expected will lead the side while Smriti Mandhana will remain her deputy in the tournament.  

Shafali Verma, who recently stunned the world with her flawless batting in test series against South Africa, will continue to play her destructive best cricket in the contest. While the presence of Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh and Deepti Sharma further balances the Indian batting order.  

Renuka Singh Thakur will lead the pace bowling department for India, while Pooja Vastrakar is another medium pacer to be included in the team.  

Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil and Asha Sobhana are the perfect spin bowling options. While the match winner Deepti Sharma, will once again play a crucial role for team India as an all-rounder.

There will be as many as 8 teams will take part in the showpiece event and the opening match of the tournament will take place on July 19 between United Arab Emirates women vs Nepal women.  

The women in blue are part of Group A which includes Pakistan, UAE and Nepal. India will start their campaign on July 19 against Pakistan.

July 21: India vs UAE at Dambulla
