Mohsin Naqvi Denies ‘Hybrid Model’ Proposal from BCCI for Champions Trophy 2025
On the evening of the same day, Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a press conference where he addressed the topic of the upcoming Champions Trophy. During the conference, Naqvi denied any discussions or proposals from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding the “Hybrid Model.”
He stated that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been willing to help India, but it cannot keep fulfilling such requests forever. Naqvi said that if a formal proposal comes in, it will be sent to the government for a decision, and the PCB will follow that decision.

On Friday evening during the Press conference, Naqvi said “Till today, no one has discussed any ‘Hybrid Model’ with us nor are we willing to talk about it. But we have been showing good gestures for the last few years and no one should expect us to do it all the time,”
“I will take anything writing to the government and whatever decision they take we have to follow them,” Naqvi added.
