This was Rishabh Pant’s comeback innings after the injury in a car accident and oh boy he played like he never left the group. Coming in at no 3 the wicketkeeper-batsman has certainly proved the hatter on why he is a right pick for the Indian team.
Hardik Pandya remained not out and played a wonderful innings, he even smashed three sixes in a row to put pressure on Bangladesh bowlers. Hardik was 40* of 23 balls with four massive sixes and two boundaries. Suryakumar also played his part but failed to continue till the end.

Bangladesh with the ball in the first innings was completely off, where Tanvir Islam, Mahmudullah, Shoriful Islam, and Mahedi Hasan all picked up one wicket each. A total of 8 bowlers were used by Bangladesh but India however managed to score 185/5 in 20 overs.
The result with the bat was nothing better as Bangladesh’s batter failed to withstand India’s bowling attack. In 10 overs Bangladesh scored 46 runs and lost five wickets, at this point it was almost game over for Bangladesh as it was completely out of their hands. But Mahmudullah with the bat tried his best before getting retired hurt and walked back to the pavilion with 40* off 28 balls. Expect Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah no one really kept going for Bangladesh in this warmup match against India.

A good bowling performance to restrict Bangladesh from chasing the target to scoring 182 runs in the first innings, the Indian team played a wonderful game of cricket where the Indian team dealt with few things and got used to the surface of grounds in the United States. So this is a good start for India leading up to the T20 WC, but however, Bangladesh needs to regroup and make changes to have an impact in the group stages of the T20 World Cup.
