It was a pure-class performance from India as the batters showed no mercy on the Bangladesh bowlers. First, it was Sanju Samson who started the onslaught then Suryakumar Yadav continued it with his brilliant knock.

Suryakumar Yadav played the perfect skipper role as he smashed 75 runs from 35 balls. While Riyaz Parag (34) and Hardik Pandya (47) took the Indian team total to 297/6 in 20 overs. For Bangladesh Tanzim Hasan Sakib stood out with three wickets but he conceded 66 runs in his four overs.
