In the second innings of India, Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana each claimed 1 wicket, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz managed to take 2 wickets. On the other hand, in Bangladesh’s innings, the experienced Indian spinner R Ashwin secured 3 wickets, and Jasprit Bumrah took 1 wicket by the end of the 3rd day of the match.

On Day 3 of the match, India continued their innings, starting the day with 81 runs on the board and having lost 3 wickets the previous day. Shubman Gill began the day with 33 runs off 68 balls, while Rishabh Pant started with 12 runs off 13 balls.

The partnership between Gill and Pant proved to be crucial as they both played impressive innings to strengthen India’s position. Shubman Gill went on to score 119 runs off 176 balls, and Rishabh Pant contributed 109 runs from 128 balls. Their partnership significantly boosted India’s total score.

At the conclusion of the third day, the Bangladesh cricket team showcased a commendable performance, scoring a total of 158 runs and losing 4 wickets. The team’s captain, Najmul Hossain Shanto, delivered an outstanding performance, getting 51 runs from 60 balls. Furthermore, Shakib Al Hasan also contributed 4 runs from 14 balls. As they prepare for the fourth day, Bangladesh will need to score an additional 357 runs to secure victory.
